On Wednesday May 4, 2016 approximately 40 people attended the Mapping the Vision Workshop, held at the Richmond Free Library. The purpose of the workshop was to help inform the future land use plan of the town plan. Plus gather further input on goals and strategies to help achieve the town’s vision for the future.
Remember the future land use map is intended to be a graphic representation of the town’s vision for the future. It is not the zoning map. (Even though yes, the future land use map will provide the basis for a future new zoning map.)
Folks divided up into 6 groups to discuss various aspects of the town vision, and identify places in town where we need to protect or enhance things. Check out the full results and discussion!
