Our fourth rapid fire planning night focused on Mobility + Transportation Options, and Safe + Resilient Community.
On the topic of Mobility + Transportation Options, the discussion focused on two key strategies: improving bike and pedestrian safety and options, through expanded lanes and better road conditions; and increasing public transit options, including more bus service, park & ride locations, and rail access.
On the topic of Safe + Resilient Community, outcomes focused on a new public service building and more connections between police and residents, building volunteerism, and organizing community or neighborhood networks and courses to help educate people and increase self-reliance.
The last Rapid Fire Planning Night is scheduled for Wednesday March 2, 2016, when we'll focus on Transparent + Inclusive Decision-Making.
